Ringling College of Art + Design // Film
As our foundational partner, Ringling College’s top-ranked film department brings world-class creative talent to local conservation. Under the guidance of Department Head Patrick Alexander, passionate undergraduate film students are immersed in professional production workflows. Through this partnership, students receive academic credit and paid career-building experience while utilizing top-tier equipment to produce cinematic documentaries.
VCU Brandcenter
The VCU Brandcenter, the #1 graduate program for branding in the U.S., partnered with us to shape the future of Florida Eco Films. Multidisciplinary student teams collaborated with us to transform our digital strategy, visual identity, and brand narrative, elevating us from a production studio into a comprehensive media & educational hub.

Want to get your hands dirty and make a direct impact on the environment?
Through our partner network, you can join frontline conservation efforts featured in our films. Volunteer alongside the Longboat Key Turtle Watch for early morning beach patrols (May–November) to identify and protect sea turtle nests, or assist in local eco-restoration projects like living seawall installations and seabird rehabilitation. Your individual efforts combine to create a significant cumulative impact.

We unite frontline conservation leaders to scale their impact. Our core organizational partners include:
Rotary Club of Long Boat Key
The catalyst for our film series following an Earth Day 2023 environmental summit. Rotarians provide vital project conceptualization, funding, and logistics, with over 20 members volunteering significant hours to support our students and local eco-heroes.
Oyster River Ecology (ORE)
A key conservation partner featured in our documentary series, working to restore vital coastal habitats and water quality
Suncoast Urban ReForesters (SURF) Collaborators in our educational outreach, focusing on the importance of micro-foresting to protect and restore local ecosystems
DONATIONS
Investment in Stories That Move People to Action Supporting Florida Eco Films is not just a donation.
It is a dual investment in education and environmental conservation.
We operate on a unique collective impact model:
your financial support directly provides paid, real-world experience for student filmmakers while simultaneously gifting underfunded local environmental organizations with $15,000-$25,000 worth of powerful media assets.
GRANTS
As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, we are committed to complete transparency, measurable outcomes, and efficient use of funds. Our foundational work was supported by highly transparent Rotary District 6960 Grants, where we carefully tracked both budget efficiency and over 370 hours of student impact. We actively partner with regional foundations, such as the Barancik Foundation and the Florida Department of Agriculture, to fund specific environmental documentaries and scale our sustainable, replicable storytelling model across Florida.
